The Research Management System is run by the DVC Research, Innovation and Outreach. It gathers the work that used to live in files, folders and long corridors.

Staff, students and partners use the same platform. Each request has an owner, a stage and a date.

The Division does not just approve studies. We stay with a project from the day it is proposed until the day it closes.

Approval is the beginning, not the end. Every active study is monitored until it closes.

Ethical approval is granted under the Kenyatta University Research Policy and the Committee’s own guidelines. A NACOSTI research licence is obtained separately, after approval.
